anyway, i hope you get to see this.
I want to talk about art, primarily from 2 previously established camps; Digital and Traditional. Now I work in both, and adore both, but i find it an interesting topic to discuss. What sparked this was a comment made on my santon images.
My own personal feeling on art are not as hot-head as they were in my youth where i would fight viciously in forums about the worth of digital art. I like to think I've matured and can see the pro's and con's of both. so here we go;

I'm only looking at pencil sketchies here

You may of seen a fair amount of this lately from me, to me I get a lot of enjoyment out of picking up a pencil and sketching away. I tend to get a quick scene or a prominent image in my head that needs to be drawn and a pencil sketch best does this. I love to shade in pencil. I ALWAYS have, its calming. I find it requires lots of planning

This week, the admin have discussed this weeks challenge and have come to the conclusion that we should split the challenge into a beginner/ advanced category.
For the beginners, they will be given a challenge that will help teach and further advance their drawing knowledge and ability.
For the advanced, they will be given the chance to explore their creative abilities.

Help|Korra Artshow|New Music|Commissions?Hey guys, it's the beginning of the month and I'm calling for your support again!
There's quite a few things I need to take care of and I can't do it without some help.
First off, I really need to see a doctor and I don't have the money to do it right now and I've been putting off a doctor's visit for months just because of financial issues. But my health is starting to get in the way of my work so I want to get a full checkup soon.
Second, some of you may already know about the artshow coming up next month by PixelDrip Gallery: "I'm The Artshow, Deal With It!". I've been asked to have my work featured there among so many other incredible artists. They've asked to feature about 5 pieces in the physical artshow (and everything else in the digital artshow), but once again, my lack of funds is a problem and its keeping me from sending 1 piece let alone 5.
