I cringe every time I see an "archer" in my deviantWATCH box. The reason being is that very few artists seem to do there homework when it comes to depicting something that they may not have ever done or seen before. I do like the asian references in the background, but was very distracted by the factual errors in the piece.

To start with the arrows in the quiver have feathers, but the one on the bow does not. The hand drawing the bow is not holding the bowstring correctly, either. Secondly, the arrow is on the wrong side of the bow, and it should be resting on the extended index finger of that hand.

Other than that, it's a very nice piece of work, despite the detail flaws ....
