Cover by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau

The Old Chinese Gods have returned and they’re out for vengeance! Dear Stanley,
As usual your talent sings...
Great anatomical tension here. Quite believable.
I hope you will allow me some constructive criticism on a minor detail however.
As you might be aware, the bow and arrow was exploited (and refined)in China over centuries in ways quite different than in the West.
The use of THUMB RINGS was quite prevalent in ancient times,a device well suited for launching an arrow.

In addition the chock which the arrow is laid against on the bow with the LEFT hand appears absent in your painting.
Might I suggest a cursory study of archeology to add a further level of believability and authenticity to your fantasy work...
With respect,Stephen Fitz-Gerald
