This is a real challenge. I don't usually draw mecha, it is something that I am not very interested in. However, having a friend like Kai (ukitakumuki), who floods his gallery with mecha, machines, vehicles and such, it makes me wanna get it a shot. After all, it is nice to start the new year with a small personal breakthru right?

This is my "virgin" mecha...haha.. so please dun be too harsh on the comments... :)

Done in Painter 9 using soft chalk pastel, 6 hrs, no reference.

EDIT: Changed the body to make Pepper sit in a more anatomy correct position. Thanks for those who pointed the problem out. :)

i love the detail of the window where we can see her lower body, its really a nice detail, with the hearts...

The left leg and arm looks abit odd faded. Maybe thats just me though. Love the breifcase.

That's a hell of a good way to start, i love it, it's got a sort of 60's, Buck Rodgers meets Manga feel to it, great choice of color and texture too, only prob is the girls bod is a tad too long.

Diiiiiferent... *chuckles* Cute in a bulky sort of way. Shows her best assets? :giggle: Nice touch with the heart on the bottom glass.

The only critique I have is that the driver's knees are at the mecha's hips. She would eitehr have to be kneeling or an odd position for her lower legs. Otherwise nicely done, and original. Cute. :)

lol. Animal square marking, and Creative Surgeon shopping bag.
This would come in handy for holiday-time shopping. "Get out of my way!" =p

OK, here's something that could be improved: on top you see her head inside, and on the bottom you can see the top of her legs... but the distance from this to that is too high, don't you think? not well proportioned.

The mech itself looks great. :)
