Your art is breathtaking. This is no exception.
I featured this piece alongside 23 other deviations in my journal entitled "22 + 2 Must See Deviations Edition VII." Please swing by and take a look and support some of the other artists.
I figured I ought to go around and comment on my faves. Took me a while to stop being rude.
How do I love this? Let me count the ways.
The hair and face seem like a late sixties vision of the 19th century, which tickles me for many reasons, not the least because it reminds me of my favourite character in my favourite Hammer film (Dracula, Prince of Darkness and Helen). The dress, of course, adds to the 19th century feel, and it's so beautifully, simply evoked. And the elongated body brings us back to the 60s!
I like the dark lines vs. seeming watercolour, too - the grey shadow and the splash of red.
I wish I had smarter things to say, but that pic is just cool.
hey, i was browsing through my brothers friends and there art and I came across, you. The reason why I was doing this in the first place is because I love tattoos, but I totally despise all the lame crap ones that people get, I designed my first one myself but ive been craving another one for some time now for my lower leg.
Ive been looking for something excatley like this, the style of art and everything, the use of a blast of colour, female form etc. I dont really know what im getting at, maybe Im asking for you to design one...? I dont know really, totally up to you I guess, but if you did decide to humor me could you keep the image inside the frame.
Sorry to waste your time.
45 mins! Unbelievable. I'd be so lucky if I could draw like that. Anyway, I love the pen media and you use them brilliantly. Obviously you are pro. It's also amazing how you got up just to have a go. The determination you have is amazing. you've got to give me some tips.
