If this is just a scan, how do you achieve those lines to be so solid. whenever i scan something, no matter how much i play with the levels or contrast, it always ends up looking like... chalk, all grainy.

Do you mean you scanned it and then RE-sketch it digitally in a new layer in Painter??
if that's the case could you PLEASEEE PLEASEEEEEEE post the original scan! I really hope to see some guidelines in her face and body, or a little more rough and messy drawing. Thanks!
