Ms Marvel by Artgerm Ms Marvel by Artgerm
** After reading some comments from the members and having another look at the image, I tend to agree that she is showing a little too much ass and becomes distracting. Thanks! **

Just did this in my Join.Me live painting demo for all of my dA chatroom members over at Artgermination. I conduct live painting sessions regularly for them to improve their craft. :)

You can welcome to join my chatroom too! [link]

Here's my two cents: I disagree with a lot of comments about this image.  The work is fabulous, plain and simple.

For those who didn't like the piece because they can't separate the work from the pose: you've got some issues to work through that has nothing to do with what is presented here.

For those who claim that this is some sort of back-breaking, spine-wrenching pose: I just took a life drawing class and the model -on her own volition- did this pose.  Didn't break her back, didn't even hurt her a little.  I've even put myself in this position getting various sports gear on.   So the pose isn't impossible or even unrealistic in terms of physically being able to do it.  If you want to argue why a super hero would do it, that's a whole other story.

And for those fixated on her back side: it's there, but it's not distracting.  My eyes went several places before even heading that far down the piece.  Look at it with fresh eyes and you'll see the brighter areas take you from the hand to the face first as it's designed to do.

You art has sadly been stolen, or at least used without your permission
