1) Is he falling over? The pose looks like it wants to be an action pose, but it looks more like he's falling on his side and pissed about it.
2) Swords are never held like that, at least not on purpose by a well-trained warrior. The guard should run parallel to his arm. Plus, if I remember correctly, Huma is a right-handed character, yet you have the sword in his left hand and shield in his right.
Other than those two things, though, it's a great representation of the mood and feel of Dragonlance. You captured the colors and look of the armor very well.
