Someone likes RED! Wonderful stuff you incorporate a lot of styles in your art. I see Mike Kaluta, Alphonse Mucha(Art Nouveau), Frank Miller, Luis Royo, Ghost in the Shell artist forget the name Shirow or something, Brandon Choi... I can go on and on You are really masterful with all the different styles! I really like it!
This is surely an exquisite piece of work you have created here, Artgerm. Question: Why the heavy black outline around her figure. Wouldn't it help to soften and blend it to enhance the sense of curving towards the back (three-dimensionally) rather than the dark silloute effect that makes it look cut out (2-D) and pasted on the background? But, really, really... FANTASITIC, beautiful! Kudos!
''habibi'' means ''lover'' in arabic, and there is no linguistic connection between turkish and arabic. don't get me wrong, I find arabian and persian culture fascinating. but even though these cultures had common intersections in their history they have quite seperate cultures as well. you better re-tink the title again.
as for the work, even though it's a marvellous composition and has a beautiful painting style, position of the arm at the back is quite awkward and anatomically it seems wrong. anyway this is an eye candy work..
Hi, I have a blog sharing excerpts from my novel, The Unfinished Song: Initiate. May I use your art in some of my posts? You will be given full credit and I will link to your deviatART site (and another site if you request it). Here’s the site:
