I like how you represent them, I see A LOT of others making them have these humongous breasts, which ruins the rest of the look for me. But these are just perfect & your artwork is amazing. Tks for sharing with us.
It's lovely art. He can keep his thoughts to himself. I also have no respect for a person who literally finds everything "sexy" (note: Not always meant for sexual appeal) on a teen-and-preteen-friendly website and comments only his disgusting thoughts. Really, this website is for art, not for people simply wanting to get off. He could have said anything positive about the piece other than "I want to pull her zipper down". Like what the heck.
The color scheme is great but the boots just throw me off the entire outfit. I understand the need for change for a younger audience, but this Hipster phase will come & go. It's a fad and fads never last. The only real way for D.C. to know is if they test so this doesn't hurt them either way. We'll see how it works out. I've been a longtime aficionado & I just recently completed a Batman poster myself. If you'd like you can check it here: fav.me/d7zft43 Thanks for the inspiration, Artgerm.
i personally think that she should have a more leaping-off-a-building-with-cape-flying kind of pose, because while the way you drew the motions are really nice, her pose is a bit odd. but otherwise, i really love the colors and the lines.
Any chance you could do some Marvel ladies on Justice mag? Or maybe a new title of magazine? That would be sooooo cool. All you've done that I can see is DC girls. Otherwise, really great work as always.
Gorgeous outfit!! I like the black down the pant sides and belt design. I kinda has the Stephanie Brown look somewhat mixed with Barbara's. Gorgeous coloring and vibrancy. Pretty cool how you blurred the background and the lower cover part and had nice focus on her upper body and facial detail. Very beautifully done
Her new costume is pretty cool. It looks real, like something you can put together yourself. Nods to creature. The drawing looks superb and the colouring for the creases and highlights makes it more 3D. Her face is detailed and looks real.
That's a truly leap of fashion. I'm sure that would become into a realistic trend in comic books and comic book movies... and that's something good (in fact, that's not something new, just take a look of the Fox/Marvel movies).
Yeah, it bugged me too but it seems like that's just this particular artist's mistake (mistake being a harsh word when this piece of artwork is otherwise amazing). If you look at official pictures of this new design you can see the zipper running through the logo.
